Self-Assessment & Training Tool
How is your posture when working at the computer? Are you comfortable at your workstation?  We provide you Remedy Interactive OES tool to assess your own work environment.  OES is a web-based interactive education program for office ergonomics.  The tool is convenient.  It can be done on your schedule and doesn't have to be completed at one sitting.  If your work environment has changed, you can use the tool to re-assess your workstation.  We encourage you to use the tool to assess your work environment.

This tool will:

  • Evaluate both the workstation risk factors as well as behaviors related to ergonomics based on your input;
  • Review basic anatomy and how it related to body mechanic and office ergonomic;
  • Teach you to prevent fatigue and injury

The OES will provide you with personalized feedback for:

  • Safe body positioning
  • Proper workstation setup
It is important to implement your personalized recommendations to minimize the potential for musculoskeletal disorders and to update your profile when changes have been made. If you are experiencing discomfort, report to your team leader and be evaluated by the Naperville Occupational Health Services.
