Chemical Hygiene Program Effectiveness

The Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO), Dan Zbinden, is a member of the HSE Department and is available to provide technical guidance on the development and implementation of the provisions of this plan. The CHO is also responsible for conducting an annual audit of the Plan’s effectiveness.  Dan can be reached at 630-961-7677.

Each Business Unit with Research and Technology operations at the Naperville Campus is required to perform a Compliance Task: "Self evaluation of the effectiveness of Hazard Communication and Chemical Hygiene Plan" using an "Inspection Checklist". Results of these BU Self Evaluations are compiled and used by the CHO to evaluate the Plan's effectiveness.
