Smoking Policy
The State of Illinois has adopted the Smoke Free Illinois Act which forbids indoor smoking at all public places and places of employment. The act further restricts smoking to no closer than 15ft of any doorway, open window, or air intake for any public building.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Naperville Campus buildings.  This includes the use of e-cigarettes.  The campus has determined that the use of an e-cigarette inside a building will be considered the same as smoking a tobacco product. All smoking shall occur in a designated smoking area.
Designated smoking areas have been identified for each building.
The campus grounds are considered non-smoking at the Naperville Campus. There shall be no smoking along the roadways or sidewalks, or in the parking lots outside of a vehicle. Acceptable areas in which smoking is allowed have been selected. These areas are designated by the orange dots on the designated smoking areas link above.    A smoker’s genie has been provided at these locations. Smoking is also allowed inside of a personal vehicle. The areas depicted in green on the map are restricted areas and smoking is strictly prohibited.

At 30 South Wacker Dr. – Please follow the local ordinance for the City of Chicago. Contact a Security officer if you are unsure of where to smoke.

Questions concerning this smoking policy should be directed to the Naperville Entity HSE staff at 331-702-3472..
